Description
A five-piece ABS mounting set in black — 4 × corner brackets + 1 × twin-gland cable entry housing. Bonded to the roof rather than screwed through it. ABS is the right material here for two reasons that have nothing to do with cost: it is non-conductive, so it will not set up a galvanic couple against an aluminium roof, and it is light enough that the mounts add nothing meaningful to a payload that is usually already tight. Manufactured in our own plant in Xiamen — brackets are our product, not a bought-in part.

Which set size do I need?
Match the mounting to the panel length, not to its wattage — a long panel needs more support than a short one of the same output, because an unsupported centre section flexes and drums in airflow, and that is what eventually fatigues a bonded joint.
Four corners carry a short panel. Add the two side brackets from roughly 200 W or 1.2 m upward. Add the cable entry housing if the roof has no existing gland — it takes two cables through one sealed opening, which is the single most common leak point on a retrofit. Tell us the panel model and we will tell you which set it takes.
One thing we will not claim
We have not put these through salt-spray testing, so we do not describe them as marine-grade and you should not either. For a road vehicle they are well within their duty. If your application is coastal or marine, tell us and we will have the testing done properly before we quote — we would rather delay an order than have you find out at the customer’s expense.
Best for
Flexible and rigid panel installs on motorhome, caravan and van roofs where the panel is bonded rather than rail-mounted, and the roof must not be drilled.
