Topenergy builds the hardware that holds solar to a roof — and supplies everything that goes behind it. We are a Chinese manufacturer and system supplier for RV, campervan and motorhome solar: roof mounting brackets we tool and produce ourselves, matched with panels, charge controllers, batteries, inverters and cabling from certified partner factories.
We started with mounting, not with panels
Xiamen Topenergy Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. began in solar mounting hardware for rooftop PV systems — rails, roof hooks, mid and end clamps, L-feet, tile and trapezoidal-sheet brackets. That is unglamorous work, and it teaches you things a trading company never learns: how a bracket behaves under wind uplift, why a fixing that survives a bench test still fails after two winters, and how much a millimetre of tolerance costs on an assembly line.
RV roofs turned out to be a harder version of the same problem. A vehicle roof flexes, vibrates at speed, and — unlike a building — the owner really does not want holes drilled into it. So we tooled our own ABS bracket sets for RV use: bonded, no drilling required, available in 4, 5, 6 and 7-piece configurations to suit different panel sizes. The moulds are ours, the parts are made to our drawings, and when a customer needs a change we can actually make it.
What we make, and what we source
We think you are entitled to know which is which.
- We manufacture — the ABS mounting bracket sets, tooled in-house. Aluminium bracket sets are produced to our specification.
- We source and integrate — flexible and rigid solar panels, MPPT and PWM charge controllers, LiFePO4 and AGM batteries, pure sine wave inverters, solar cable and connectors. These come from partner factories holding ISO 9001, CE, RoHS and IEC certification. Those certificates belong to the manufacturing factories, not to us, and we will tell you exactly whose they are on request.
The value we add is that the parts arrive matched. A 200 W flexible panel, a controller sized for it, a battery that will actually accept the charge current, and brackets that fit that panel’s dimensions — specified as one system, shipped as one order, with one party answering for it.
Selling into Europe
Europe is our primary market, and the compliance work that implies is already done rather than promised. Topenergy is registered under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) with WEEE Reg. No. DE 69775827, held in our own company name through an authorised representative in Germany. For a distributor or workshop buying from China, that registration is the difference between goods that can be sold and goods that cannot.
We also sell RV mounting hardware into North America, where our brackets have been shipping to end customers for several years.
How we work with buyers
- Quote-based, not cart-based. Tell us the vehicle, the roof area and the daily consumption, and we come back with a configuration and a price — not a checkout page.
- OEM and private label on the bracket sets, since the tooling is ours.
- Specifications in full, up front. No spec sheet locked behind an enquiry form.
