Description
Ten metres of PV cable, pre-terminated with MC4 connectors at the panel end and an Anderson connector at the battery end. Sold as a kit because this is where self-built systems fail: the wrong gauge, connectors that do not seat, or a joint made in the roof void with insulating tape. Everything here is terminated in the factory and rated for outdoor UV exposure.
Key points
- Pre-terminated both ends. MC4 to the panel, Anderson to the battery or controller — no crimping on site, no crimp tool to buy.
- 4 mm² PV cable as standard. 6 mm² and 10 mm² are available for longer runs or higher currents — tell us the run length and the array current and we will specify it.
- Double-insulated, UV-stable PV cable, the type intended to sit on a roof for years rather than general-purpose automotive wire.
- Red and black supplied as a pair so polarity stays obvious to whoever services the vehicle next.
We are confirming the full specifications for this model with the manufacturing factory. Ask us and we will send the factory’s data sheet — we would rather do that than publish numbers we have not verified. Request the specifications.
Getting the length right
Measure the whole path, not the straight line: up the wall void, along the roof, round the obstruction and back down to the battery bay. Cable losses rise with the square of the current, so an undersized or over-long run costs output permanently and invisibly. If you are unsure, send us the array wattage, the system voltage and the run length — we will size it rather than let you guess.
Best for
Kit builds and retrofits where the installer wants one part number instead of a cable drum, a bag of connectors and a crimp tool.
