Description
A 30 A PWM controller for mid-size lead-acid systems. PWM is the simple, inexpensive approach: it drags the panel down to battery voltage and discards the difference. At 30 A that is a meaningful amount of energy, so read the note below before choosing it over MPPT.
Key points
- Consider MPPT at this size. 30 A on 12 V means an array around 300-400 W, which is where an MPPT controller starts recovering enough extra energy to pay for itself — especially in cold, bright weather. We would rather say so than sell you the cheaper unit.
- Lithium and lead-acid compatible — AGM, gel, flooded and LiFePO4.
- LCD display and USB output (5 V / 2.5 A) for charging devices directly.
- IP30 enclosure — indoor mounting only, and it needs airflow. Do not bury it in a sealed locker.

Best for
300-400 W systems where budget matters more than harvest. Above this size, MPPT is the better buy.
