Description
The kit most people should buy — 200 W of ETFE flexible panel, a 30 A MPPT controller, aluminium brackets and 10 m of cable. This is the configuration that runs a compressor fridge, lights and devices on a typical Class B or Class C motorhome and still recovers the battery on an average day. The controller is MPPT with a phone app, which matters more than it sounds: the customer can see what the array is actually doing instead of guessing, and that alone removes most of the support calls.
Key points
- MPPT, not PWM. Above roughly 200 W an MPPT controller recovers meaningfully more energy, and the gap is widest in cold, bright weather with a low battery — exactly when the customer needs it.
- Aluminium brackets rather than ABS — stiffer, and the right choice once you are carrying a 200 W panel.
- 10 m of cable, enough to reach from a roof panel to a battery bay in most motorhome layouts without splicing.
- Lithium-ready. The controller handles LiFePO4 and lead-acid, so the same kit suits an upgrade path.
What is in the kit
| 200 W ETFE flexible panel | TE-SP200-ETFE |
| 30 A MPPT charge controller | TE-CC30-MPPT — lithium and lead-acid compatible |
| Aluminium mounting brackets, 4-piece set | TE-MB-AL04-BK (black); silver available as TE-MB-AL04-SV |
| 10 m cable kit | TE-AKAC15-10 — PV cable with MC4 and Anderson connectors |
Options
- 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery (TE-BT100-LFP) — not included in the base kit.
- 1000 W pure sine wave inverter (TE-IV1000-PS220 for 220 V, TE-IV1000-PS110 for 110 V) — not included in the base kit. Add it if the customer wants mains sockets for a laptop, a coffee machine or tools.
- Installation accessory pack (TE-AK-001).
Why this one sells
Two hundred watts with lithium is the point at which a vehicle stops being a weekend proposition and starts being usable off-hookup for a week. Below it you are managing consumption; above it you are mostly paying for headroom you use a few days a year. If the customer has a large fridge, an inverter in daily use, or spends winters out, go to the 400 W kit instead.
